This is the job for you! We need someone to update our social media accounts daily (Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest), send a weekly email to our customers using Constant Contact, as well as write and post product listings on our easy-to-use WYSIWYG site & etsy.

Meeting deadlines is essential, and you need to either be able to generate and post content daily, or work on it in advance and schedule it ahead of time. We love folks who can work independently, yet still seek guidance when they need it. You must have a reliable computer and internet you can use to handle these duties. (You can write those things off on your taxes, but we can't provide them for you.)
WOULD LIKE TO HAVES: an associates, BA, or master's degree in communications, PR, fashion, or job experience that proves you can write well and meet deadlines. Graphic design experience. Familiarity with optimizing SEO. New ideas, a sense of humor, a posi attitude. We prefer to hire plus sized people and people of color are our priority.
Who's the boss:
Tony Danza. But you'll answer to Rachel Kacenjar, our owner and art director, and you'll manage one intern who will help you complete your weekly tasks. You'll have bi-weekly check in calls with Rachel, and we do the majority of our communicating via email, so you'll have to be tapped into that platform and answer emails quickly.
Hours:
We're assuming it will take you about an hour a day to make all of your posts, and then 5 extra hours per week for research, writing time, and product listings. So we're looking at about 12-15 hours a week. We will have you clock in and out to track your time.
Pay:
Pay is commensurate with experience, and will be between $12-$15 an hour with quarterly goal-based bonuses. We will employ you as an independent contractor, so you'll be issued a 1099 and will need to handle your own taxes.
Callback date & hiring:
We plan to reach people who we plan to interview by Tuesday, April 7th, and hire by April 14th.
2. Flea Markets & Outreach Manager (Cleveland based only)
Responsibilities:
Re/Dress is a partner with the Cleveland Flea, and does a monthly outdoor flea market the second Saturday of April-October as well as two holiday markets in November and December. This year, we're also branching out to markets in Pittsburgh and NYC, and need an extra set of hands on deck to run our flea in Cleveland as well as occasionally work at the store when needed. You will also be researching other outside sales opportunities, flea markets, and partnerships for Re/Dress.
This person will have to prep for the flea in advance of the Saturday morning set up time each month. (This can be done within the week of the flea market date.) They will be in charge of finding, scheduling, and managing a second worker (can be an intern or a Re/Dress worker or volunteer) to assist them at each flea. On the second Saturday of each month, this person will have to pack their car (and likely the car of another person), unload at the flea market around 7am, and vend from 9am-5pm, break down, and put all items in storage back at the store. This job is a physical one, and there is some lifting and going up and down stairs while lifting involved.
The flea markets are fun events and the right candidate will have great sales experience and enjoy interacting with the public. The duration of each flea market is pretty chill and you get to sit, take breaks, and get a lunch stipend, however the set up and break down is physically demanding. We also need the right person to be creative, as we will give you a stipend to make our booth look fly, so have ideas about how you'd like to display our wares!
Qualifications:
MUSTS: you absolutely have to be able to attend each flea as well as have some Saturdays and Sundays available to work at the store. (Mandatory dates are: April 10th & 11th, May 9th, June 13th, July 11th, August 8th, September 12th AND 19th, October 10th, and late November and Mid December weekend dates that are yet to be announced.)
You must be outgoing and good at sales for our presence to be successful. Trend-watching is helpful, and each month you will need to come back and tell the bosslady what sold best and what you want to take to sell at the next flea.
You must have a car, a valid license and car insurance. This is non-negotiable.
WOULD LIKE TO HAVES: an associates, BA, or master's degree in communications, PR, fashion, merchandising, or job experience that proves you are a retail/sales master. New ideas, a sense of humor, a posi attitude. We prefer to hire plus sized people and people of color are our priority.
Who's the boss:
You'll answer to Rachel Kacenjar, our owner and art director, and you'll likely work with Erin Thomas, our lead shop girl. You'll have bi-weekly check in calls or in-person meetings with Rachel, and we do the majority of our communicating via email, so you'll have to be tapped into that platform and answer emails quickly. Rachel will train you at your first flea market so you know what you're doing.
Hours:
This is a seasonal position, and begins in early April 2015 and ends in December, 2015. If you do a great job and are so inclined, this is a renewable contract for April-December of 2016. It is likely that you'll work 1-2 shifts a month in the store along with your monthly flea duties, which will total about 25-35 hours per month.
Pay:
Pay is commensurate with experience, and will be between $11-$13 an hour with goal-based and commission bonuses for each flea market with a larger end of the season bonus. We will employ you as an independent contractor, so you'll be issued a 1099 and will need to handle your own taxes.
